The Caribbean Gem - Saint Lucia

We just returned from Saint Lucia in the Caribbean. While most of it was for fun (Alex's 50th Birthday), we did spend some time working. ;) Our firsthand experience is one of things that sets us apart from other agencies. You would be hard pressed to find a place (that we sell) that we haven't been in some way or another. We schedule what's called "site visits". This gives us an opportunity to experience the resorts for ourselves so we know if it would be a good fit for you! We also meet the onsite managers to develop a strong professional relationship, so we know our clients are always taken care of. On this trip we visited 7 resorts...

Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa This is where the party took place! It's a great resort for groups and families. It's all inclusive and packed with fun. They have an adult side - Harmony & the kids’ side - Splash. There is a waterpark with 2 slides and a lazy river. I think the adults enjoyed this more! They have two large pools that are kid friendly and then 2 pools that are adults only. The rooms were spacious and recently renovated and the food was great. We recommend booking a concierge room category so you can make dining reservations ahead of time. Also, part of this resort, but completely separate is Serenity at Coconut Bay which is a couples only luxury resort. Here you are pampered by a butler and wined and dined with gourmet food and have access to everything at Coconut Bay as well.

Sandals Halcyon Beach After all the fun and excitement, we needed some peace and relaxation, so we stayed at Sandals Halcyon Beach. One of three Sandals resorts on the island, it’s the most lush, calm, and quiet. This resort has several room categories that have their own plunge pool, swim out suites, or balcony tranquility soaking tub. Most rooms are set back in the property and offer views of the pools and landscapes. We love the restaurant Kelly’s Dockside. You will definitely be wowed by the ambiance and food. All Sandals resorts are made for people in love and completely all inclusive - five-star gourmet food, top shelf liquor, no tipping (except spa and butlers), scuba included, golf included, water sports included and nightly entertainment.

Sandals Regency La Toc This resort is one of the more unique in the Sandals line because of the way it’s built. Half the resort is up on the cliff or as they call it the Sunset Bluff, making for some beautiful views from the suites and restaurants. Sushi in the sky, yes please! This resort feels luxurious and fun. The pools have waterfall rock features, and the stretch of beach is beautiful.

Sandals Grande St. Lucian We stayed here back in 2020. The location is the best! On a peninsula in Rodney Bay, you have the Atlantic in the back and the Caribbean in the front. The beach is beautiful as are the grounds. Our favorite room category is the Caribbean Honeymoon BeachView Penthouse Club Level, there's also some very cool Rondoval suites with private plunge pools and Over the Water Bungalows. This is also one of my favorite resorts for destination weddings, with the one of a kind over the water wedding chapel.

One of the best things about Sandals in St. Lucia is you can stay at 1 resort and play at 3! So, no matter which resort you stay at you'll have access to all of them via a free shuttle.

Jade Mountain Voted one of the best resorts in the world, Jade Mountain is a truly unique experience. Each sanctuary has only three walls, the fourth wall is entirely absent so as not to obstruct the insane view as you sip cocktails in your infinity edge pools overlooking the Pitons. Experience "Jade Cuisine" by James Beard Award winner, Chef Allen Susser. Jade Mountain guests have full access to all activities and facilities of the sister resort Anse Chastanet.

Anse Chastanet This resort was built with nature and relaxation in mind, with stunning views and two beautiful beaches it is the perfect escape for those that want to escape. The open-air suites are more than spacious. Would you like to make your own chocolate, take on a cooking class, sip afternoon tea or enjoy a private dining experience? You can do that and more at Anse Chastanet including dining from a wide range of award-winning culinary options.

Ladera Resort One of the best locations on the whole island situated on a UNESCO World Heritage site, Ladera is nestled on the volcano ridge between the two Pitons offering magnificent views. The craftsmanship in each suite is remarkable. All the materials used are locally harvested and all the furniture is made on site by St. Lucian artisans. The suites are open, and each have their own plunge pool. There's bird watching, guided hikes, garden tours and yoga on property. Dasheene is an award-winning farm to table restaurant.

Rendezvous The place of stolen time. All-inclusive and luxurious, this resort has plenty of character. The room categories differ so much you would think you were at different resorts. There's everything from poolside suites to beachfront cottages. My two favorite things about this resort are the amazing 150-year-old Samaan tree and the secret river. Listen to the piano at the champagne bar for bubbly hour daily and catch the amazing sunset views over the water. Whether you spend your days by the pool or at the beach the drinks and food will come to you.

The island of Saint Lucia is one of the most exciting islands in the Caribbean. From the volcanic mud baths to the waterfalls there's no shortage of adventures. You can zipline through the jungle, cruise on a catamaran pass The Pitons, make your own chocolate, or just escape to a luxurious hideaway. Saint Lucia is a must visit tropical destination!
